HERQA’s Evaluation
The Higher Education Relevance and Quality Assurance Agency has made quality audit in all the Private Higher Education Institutions in Ethiopia. After a thorough evaluation, the Agency has announced the result through different Medias. According to the assessment, as it is indicated in the letter from the Agency, Admas University College is found to be one of the best Higher Education Institutions in the country.
Students’ Graduation at
Hargessa Campus
Admas University College, Hargessa Campus, graduated 289 students on Sep. 03,2004EC in Regular degree programme. The graduates were from Accounting, Information Communication Technology, Management, as well as Economics Departments. According to the information obtained from the registrar office of the campus, of the total graduating students of the day, 107 of them were females; still now, the University College graduated more than 729 students in Hargessa Campus. The graduation ceremony was held at one of the biggest international hotel found in
Hargessa City --- Mensur Hotel.
Speaking on the occasion, one of the guests of honor of the graduation ceremony, his excellence, Ato Abdereheman Abdelahie Esmael, Vice President of the Republic of Somaliland, indicated that the two countries’ brotherhood relation is changed into developmental relation.
Admas University College, one of the biggest private higher education institutions in Ethiopia, is playing its prominent role in cultivating skilled manpower in different fields of study. And, this is contributing a tremendous value for the development of Somaliland, he added.
His Excellence Ato Fantahun Roba, Delegate of the Ethiopian Council to Somaliland on his part indicated that Admas University College has one campus in Hargessa; and many Somalilanders are graduated from the campus. Hence, the University College is contributing its role for the development endeavor of Somaliland. This further strengthens the two countries’ aged brotherhood relation.
On the occasion, graduating students, their families as well as other invited guests were in attendance. Many guests of honors, Ato Molla Tsegay, president of Admas University College, handed over the diplomas, merit certificate, medals as well as the trophy to the respected graduates of the day.
Congratulating the graduates at the ceremony, Ato Molla Tsegay, president of AUC, on his part indicated that the University College is contributing its crucial roles for the development of the Republic of Somaliland. Ato Molla further added that the University College is exerting its effort in strengthening the two countries’ long lasting relation. |
